Sushi House 8/10 (V)

705 South 500 East American Fork, UT 84003-2585(801) 763-9982
One of my newfound loves is sushi. Not authentic sushi, but americanized sushi. Does that mean my palate is unrefined? Probably, but it's still the truth. At least, I think so. I've never been to Japan, so I assume the sushi I've eaten so far is americanized. Especially as sushi connoisseurs (or the commenters on the internet, who, I assume, are connoisseurs) always seem to say that food isn't authentic.
I digress. I love Sushi House. It's fairly cheap (for all you can eat sushi) at about $14 for lunch to $18 or $19 for dinner. In addition, it's tasty. They have several choices of sushi in addition to the typical rolls: California, Alaska, etc...
One of the best things I had there was their Texas roll on their dinner menu, which is made with steak and is remarkably delicious. Their Rainbow Roll is also quite magical.
I've only been on weekdays, so the sushi is always freshly prepared, so I've never had a problem with that, as I have with other places. The service is also quite good. It's not a perfect place, but it definitely is worth it.
